Ingredients

Nicotine, chewing gum base (containing butylated hydroxytoluene), calcium carbonate, carnauba wax, gelatin, glycerol, mannitol, menthol, polacrilin, sodium bicarbonate, sodium carbonate anhydrous, sorbitol, talc, titanium dioxide, purified water, xylitol, saccharin, saccharin sodium, acesulfame potassium.

Program A – If you plan to stop smoking completely before starting:

Chew one piece whenever you feel the urge to smoke.

Do not exceed 20 pieces per day.

After about 3 months, gradually reduce your daily intake.

Once you reach 1–2 pieces per day, stop the program—typically within 6 months.

Program B – If you need to cut down before quitting:

Chew one piece slowly when you feel like smoking instead of lighting a cigarette.

Increase gum use gradually while reducing cigarettes. Maximum 20 gums daily.

When you have reduced smoking enough to quit completely, follow Program A.

If no reduction occurs after 6 weeks, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Correct Chewing Method:

Chew slowly until the taste becomes strong.

“Park” the gum between your cheek and gum.

When the taste fades, chew again. Continue for about 30 minutes.

Most people use 8–12 pieces of the 2 mg gum or 4–6 pieces of the 4 mg gum daily.
Do not exceed 20 pieces (2 mg) or 10 pieces (4 mg) per day.

Combination Therapy: Nicotinell Patch + Gum or Lozenge

Nicotinell Patches provide steady nicotine throughout the day. For breakthrough cravings, you may add:

Nicotinell Gum 2 mg for fast relief, or

Nicotinell Lozenges 2 mg for longer-lasting support.

You may combine Nicotinell Patch 21 mg with Nicotinell Gum 2 mg or Lozenges 2 mg.

Use each product as directed for 12 weeks, then taper off:

Option 1:
Stop the patch first, then gradually reduce gum or lozenge use.

Option 2:
Continue the same number of gums/lozenges and step down to the Step 2 patch for 3–4 weeks, followed by Step 3 for 3–4 weeks, then taper off the gum or lozenge.
