It is a blend of Nero d'Avola and Frappato, two grapes that contradict each other in the best ways. The dark and brooding nature of the Nero is mellowed by the lighter and more subtle Frappato, leading to a wine that beguiles your mind (and nose and mouth) with small-berry aromas, cassis, wild raspberry, and even dried blueberry.
